Thanks Ron, when I get heads I will analyze the transfer area for possible improvements.
40 Deluxe- Regarding CR loss, It appears I can easily pick the CR I want as heads are available in a variety of combustion chamber volumes. You can relieve a block and still easily achieve CR from 8-9:1. But I am not relieving the block anyway based on the guidance received here.
