looking for someone that rebuilds solenoid for overdrive
i know that randy from fifth ave ford sells new ones
already have one. need to get my old one rebuilt
 
I need several overdrive solenoids, 6 & 12 volt. Do you have a contact phone number for Fifth Ave. Ford? If so, I’d appreciate it. Thanks, Vic

If you have an electric motor or generator repair shop near your location, you might ask them if they can rewind it. The points inside usually stay in pretty good shape as long as it hasn't been imersed in water. They have a fine wire coil and a heavy wire coil internally which should be pretty easy to rewind. If you have the old style that has the screw terminals on the side just remember to remove the terminal screws as well as the cover nuts if you attempt take the cover off to inspect the innerds.
