Overdrive pawl seal.

I figured out the solenoid on my sunliner is shot.

I bought a new one from Tee-Bird in Pennsylvania.

The old seal is crushed and I think not installed properly.

I have the borg warner manual but it gives no specifics about which way to install it.

The one on the left is the old one the other is the new one.

I’m learning as I go here.

The lip of the seal should be facing out, towards the transmission. The one on the left is correct. The one on the right is not a real clear picture but maybe installed upside down.
