I converted my ‘53 to OD. The knockout plug was under the gas pedal. The repop switches I bought were junk. I ended up getting a good used one. Don’t forget the wiring and the relay. i use a standard $15.00 relay instead of buying a repop. Wiring kits are available. Also, wiring diagrams are available. I liked my OD but got tired of shifting and put in an AOD. Much happier. I live in Reno, NV and would love to offload my trans and all associated stick shift parts for an 8ba. Don’t want the trouble of shipping them though.
