Overdrive install / Driveshaft angle

I will use my 53 Mainline for example:

If I put in a ford 3 speed w/Overdrive,I know I will have to shorten the drive shaft.
So that will change the angle of the driveshaft.
Is there any thing else that needs to be clanged pertaining to any angle adjustments.( Rear / Engine angle )
Or (This may be the case) Am I just over thinking the prosses ?

I know the '49-'51 Ford 3 speed and 3 sp. OD transmissions are the same overall length, so '52 and up probably are also. A quick measurement would confirm this.

Transmission length (or driveshaft length) does not change the angle of the centerline of the engine. That angle is the angle set by the tilt of the engine. Putting a longer transmission in does not change that angle, but may change the angle of the driveshaft relative the earth.

The angle of the driveshaft to the earth doesn't matter. What matters are the angles of the pinion and the output yokes to the universal joints. They need to be the same angle, opposite direction.
