I then pulled off my bottom inlet to make shure there was no thermostat nore in the goose neck. Now im trying to run radator cleaner to see if its gunk build up but it seems like a prity clean system. It sat for 7 years when the guy went blind but he siad it was fine when he parked it and before that it was driven every day sence 1928. Dose any one have any idears. Next time you post look in the upper right corner of the window. You will see a small box with the letters ABC with a check mark under them. That is your spell checker.
Here is your post after using the spell checker.

I finally have my model A set and ready for the road almost everything is set but the big problem is its over heating. I had a hose leak, fixed that. I then pulled off my bottom inlet to make sure there was no thermostat nor in the goose neck. Now I'm trying to run radiator cleaner to see if its gunk build up but it seems like a pretty clean system. It sat for 7 years when the guy went blind but he said it was fine when he parked it and before that it was driven every day since 1928. Does any one have any ideas. (I'm also pretty sure it is in time.) well 60%. I'm not sure were I should be running the fuel mix I'm running the Zenith model B carb on it. What is the max temp these can be run at because when I got it it was running a 50 50 anti freeze water mix idk if it was only running fine because of the anti freeze. Any help would be appreciated.

Now for the cooling problem.
Go to the auto parts store and buy some cooling system cleaner and follow the directions on it.
After cleaning the system would be a great time to remove the radiator and take it to a radiator shop and have it rodded out. This will get everything flowing as it should. Make sure you tell the shop NOT TO REMOVE THE BAFFLE IN THE TOP TANK. It is there for a reason. Before you reinstall the radiator flush the block with your garden hose to remove any crud laying in it.
I am sure new hoses are in order as long as you are doing things.
You should also check the packing in the water pump to be sure it isn't leakin'. If it is order some new packing from a Model A parts supplier. You should keep packin' in the car anyway 'cause ya never know when it is gonna start leakin'.
Refill you radiator with a 50/50 mixture of water and antifreeze. Many Model owners like Sierra brand anti freeze 'cause it doesn't foam.

PS I use the spell checker with every post. It makes me appear to be literate. :D

I'll second Chris's suggestions... on several levels. A lot can happen inside a radiator that sits for seven years. Plus, spellcheck is great for dinosaurs like me who never learned to type:) Seriously, good luck with your overheating problem; I'm sure you'll fix it.

Is it overheating? Does brown oily looking stuff come to the top of the radiator neck when radiator cap is off? Does it bubble after 11 or less minutes ? You said sitting around with Anti-freeze for 7 years? Could be a leak in the head gasket then.

The new engine in my 29 is doing the same thinig. I had the radiator cleaned but not rodded, they told me they couldn't take the tanks off. It's a three tube radiator. The block was cleaned when rebuilt. It has no miles on it but it gets up to 200 degrees in ten minutes of so of fast idling. I'm at a loss. I tried another radiator and got the same results. And Chris, since you could read his post I don't see as spelling is a big deal. He's just asking for advice, not a grammar lesson.

Im bringing it down this week to amco transmition they said they would do anything I needed them to, and rodding out a radator is no problem. New Hoses no thermistat i just hopes its the radator; but i tell you I blocked off the bottom outlet with a plug and filled it up with CRL and watter and disconected the top and let it sit all day and it took about twice the time to reach 200 after I flused and rinced it.

I did every thing to my 31 ,radiator boiled out ,muratic acid treatment to block ,added thermostate.installed heat sender in upper rad.hose so I wouldnt be guessing about motor heating up,all for naught. Was advised to have radiator retubed, had this done with 4 tube core installed ,now it runs a cool 160 degrees ,expensive ? Yes! But now I can cruse ,drive it in parades ,no problem with heating up. The so called flow test is B S .
