I've often wondered, my self. I also wondered myself IF it would be possible to research old studio records to see when and to whom the car was sold to at the point it was "liquidated" and then trace subsiquent sales there after.Does the car still exist?
Interesting to note it has the early skirtless fenders.

Charlie, it's just the angle and shadow. I've only seen this episode 35 times and I watch it everytime its on just to see the 33. But its a standard 33 sorry for the poor quality picture.Interesting to note it has the early skirtless fenders.

Was it still "Stock" when you owned the car??? What ashamed to hear the latter part of your story!!! Might you have any pictures of the car when you owned it???That Cabriolet does exist, I used to own it. It went to Denver and was turned into a retro street rod with a 351 motor. When I had it, it was featured in American Rodder magazine in 1992. I believe it is in Arizona right now cared for by the last owners widow.
