OT: Sunbeam 1926 record

+1 great video
I've always liked the competition and even more so the comradery between teams seeking the common goal of ultimate speed.
It's (seemingly) the only autosport where you can rely on a competitor to loan you a part and help you Install it so you can make an attempt to dethrone him.

I have a stash of Model A spares. Hmmmm.
Here is what you will be chasing 131.414 mph.
At the 2025 Speed Week there were 7 total Vintage 4 motors, both V4 and V4F. Of those 7, 3 set records. V4 and V4F are the two classes for cars with Vintage 4 cylinder Model A/B blocks. V4 is the overheads and V4F are flatheads.
I have an engine to restore that set (and holds) the record on your Lake Gairdner. They shipped it without a header and made that one there. I'd love to find it in some Australian garage and reunite it with the engine.
