Original pinstripping for a 1941 Ford...

I recently purchased a 1941 Ford Club Coupe. I would like to know where the original pin stripping should go. The car is painted black with red wheels, I figured there should be red stripping above the stainless trim along the side of the body from the hood to the truck. What was the original stripping on these cars? Any suggestions?

'41 Fords did not have pinstriping on the body. The only striping was on the wheels

That's what I was thinking, but wasn't sure. No pinstripes after 38????
