Probably the nicest head I have ever had. It has the diamond symbol on the front and bold Ford script USA on the top. I put a straight edge on all of the mating surfaces and could not get a .001" feeler gauge between them. DOES NOT NEED TO BE SURFACED!! All the spart plug threads are perfect and the boss for the water pump shaft does not show any wear. The water jacket is clean and rust free. It has been bead blasted and a light coat of paint to protect it. Can't verify it for sure, but this looks like a new old stock head or very close to NOS.
