Are the "late 1931" fans less likely to catastrophically fail than the earlier ones?
I understand they are "single thickness" instead of "double thickness."
I replaced my four blade with an aluminum two blade repop on my late 1931 car, but it would be interesting to know experiences with the thinner blade steel fan.
