My roadster has a stock frame under it. It is about as nice as can be. I needed to add some bolt in stiffening legs to stop the cowl shake. I could not bring myself to cut the pan so I took it out and replaced it. The new glass top was really stiff and was ripping the windshield stantions off. The legs fixed it and now the frame is extreamly stiff.
The pan is near perfect. It was very carefully removed. No damage except from removing the spot welds. It is black and shiny
