i have a 56 customline but i 'm not sure is original color

Ford had a diamond Blue. Yours looks close to that. Or possibly a Bermuda blue. Different paint types like lacquer vs enamel or DuPont vs. PPG or single stage vs. two stage can change a paint color slightly. Yours would have been enamel originally.

the color close that i found with the sample is aquatone blue
but i don't found in the code letter

That vin resembles a Ford built in Ontario Canada. These vin tags are usually under the hood on the cowl. These cars decode different then U.S. built.
 
Something is not right about how you copied the data.
The model you have is a Customline Fordor Sedan - which should be stamped as 73B under "Body" on the data tag. None of your other data makes sense.
The tag should look like this.

Aquatone Blue was what they called your blue in 1955. In '55 I'm pretty sure it was C on the data plate. In 1956 the color may have been the same, but had a different name. (Diamond Blue ?)

I can tell you that code CD in 1955 denotes Aquatone blue on bottom and Waterfall blue on top but not sure it changed in '56 and not sure if Canadian Ford used same colors to match that code.
 
yes the car come from ontario canada i bought it 9 month ago, the old owner told me it's original color car , i never saw this two tone
 
I think the only way this is going to get decoded is if someone has access to Canadian codes. I think your paint code is "I6"
473B breaks down to:
4 - Ford 8 cylinder engine
73B - Customline Fordor Sedan

1955 to 1959 Canadian Ford Serial Code Plate
The serial code plate is installed on the left front body pillar on all passenger models.

Paint code is 16 and interior trim is FDA which are exclusively Canadian. They don't match anything in the US catalogs I have.
