Yeah, I believe the 32 open car dovetails are one year only. Back in the day, they made a regular and an offset one, which is what I need, but was never reproduced. The dovetails you describe are either 32 closed car or later, like 33-4. I thank you for responding, Carl.

Black inserts look cool but I don't think the OEM 32's had those black inserts,only stainless showing.

I believe the black insert ones are Model A.

A tapped hole in the end of the shaft means Model A

'33 roadsters/phaetons used a handle that looked the same and had the threaded holes in the end of the shaft, not sure how the shaft length compared to Model A's. I think the shaft lengths on '33 phaeton handles were different front to rear due to differences in the door/hardware.

Thanks for posting, everyone.
Now, I am confused. What made me think that these were '32 roadster handles, is I linked to someone's website, off of a Fordbarn post. They had 12 of these and called them '32 roadster handles. They even went into how to restore them. I do not know that post now.
I will post on the regular forum, as to What Is It ?

Not a 32 guy but in the DeAngelis book on page 73 & 74 there are pics of a new 32 roadster and it sure looks like it has black inserts to me ?
