Orginal Pop Out Ignition Switch

There are at least 2 types - 28-29 and 30-31. I have 2 of the 30-31 types I plan to sell. There are no keys for them. They would need to be rebuilt.

Send it to Dick Crabtree and have it restored.(...)

I completely agree with with Bob C. and Marshall V. D. that as well. I bought a restored pop switch from Dick six years ago. It has a crisp, firm action, and it’s a pleasure to operate every time.

Hey, Werner! In case I forgot to ask when you first logged on to this website, do you have the Model A Owner's Manual that came with each new car printed in German? If you don't have it, I can send you scans of the entire booklet.

As stated above, send it to Dick Crabtree or call him for one already repaired. He posts restored units occasionally on Fleabay. He has done several for me and several for my friends. He is always reasonably fast, very polite, professional and very reasonable.

Dick is a first class gentleman to deal with. He has restored several popout switches for me. If you still need one for your ‘29, I have a couple of his restored switches I could sell you.

Hello, I agree with the other posts , have a pop out from Mr. Crabtree and works as it should, complete with 2 keys, one being an original. The pop out switch is part of the “ personality “of a Model A .
