Optima hold dlown bracket

Has anyone had an opportunity to use the newer style Optima battery hold down bracket sold by Bratton's and possibly others? Apparently this newer style bracket allows you to use stock length battery cables. I'd be interested to know about your likes and dislikes regarding the hold down and your general level of satisfaction with the 6V Optima. Many thanks.
 
I use the "traditional" Optima hold down bracket and I DID use it with original length cables. I now have a battery shut off on my fire wall which requires a longer negative cable. I flip that switch off and on with my toe which is like "too easy."
 
I also have that bracket from brattons to hold my 6 volt optima in my beater pickup. Works good but i cant help you out on the stock cables since i also installed the kill switch from brattons on the starter motor and used cables that reached. Not stock cables. Mark.
 
I used the aftermarket bracket that is made from angle iron that originally fit the group 1 battery ---no changes to the cables --.

It has been the best battery ,so far 14 years, with regular batterys I would get 7-9 years.
 
I have the Brattons hold down on my optima, with the authentic original cables, and it all lines up very well.
