Can anyone identify this one-barrel carb? It say Ford U.S.A. on the front of the float tank but doesn't have any other markings. It is adapted to a V8-60 with a bronze adaptor. Thanks.

That looks like the carburetor for a 6 cylinder flathead Ford motor. If it has a port for vacuum advance it is from a H series, if not it is from a G series.

Right on coupe, model #847 ford-holley. 41-47 had a rod type connection for the choke and no vacume connection. 48-51 had a cable type choke and a vac.connection. Pass + Truck the tops and bowl configureationd are diff. I have all in stock on the shelf ready to go. inquire if you need one.Or i can rebuild that one for you. ken ct.

I have one of those carbs, it is for a '50 sedan.
Speeking of the 6 cyl, I have a cab-over up draft carb but I need the up-draft manifolds for a '51 or 52 6cyl flat head 6 cab over truck..

Might well be a pass Aaron, dosen't look like it has the "V" neck like the truck, but almost impossible wether early or late.Cant see other side? ken ct.

Thanks, guys. I got the appropriate kit. Wonder why somebody cast that bronze adaptor to fit a 1940's 1-barrel carb in place of a 1930's 2-barrel?

Hope you didn't buy one of those cheap kits from China, possible wrong accel.pump in them and rubber inlet needle.OMO. ken ct. and possible some wrong gaskets in there. good luck. ken ct.
