Howdy gang,
Is there anyone out there that still builds what I call a poormans quickchange that uses the OE banjo center flipped and gear portion welded on. Verses the full aluminium style we see today? Thanks in advance!

What's the name of the place in Boise ID that does the open driveline conversions? I think they (used to?) do them.

Thats the hot rod works, all they have is the reg style, cyclone, rodsville, winters stuff.

I do have an old american rodder with a guy from atkinson machine who did the old style but havent found any updated info.

I think that he's the guy who was mentioned in the article I seem to remember having seen. (The mind is a terrible thing to lose!)

Thanks Jason, I will give him a call for sure!

"Do a search over on the hamb, there's a few guys over there that have built "welded quickchanges" and posted their projects."

Been there also, lots of neat stuff, but no one is doing it commercially, and honestly im really not going to attempt to do my own. my attention span wont last that long, thats why i have never ending projects..HAHAHA!

Ahh, I see. If you have no luck, maybe you could $convince$ one of those fellas to make one for you. I do see them come up for sale ocaisionally in the classifieds there too.

Here is mine. It is a Wilson Welding. He told me last week that he will not be doing any more of these.
There was a no-name brand that just sold in the classifieds for $200. Bummed that I missed it!
