hey everyone...I saw a posting going around of old pics from the 30's 40's and 50's...does anyone have old pics of the 40 commercial/pickup??? Please post if you do. Would love to get some for my office. Thanks

Is there really none out there? Hard to believe...but then again I havent seen them either...thanks for looking at the post though

Wish I could figure out how to post pictures, I have a couple saved from the internet that are pretty cool. One is a repair bay with 40-41 commercials on lifts, and the other is a row of 1940 German Coca-cola delivery trucks!

To post those pics from your computer.. select post reply then scroll down to where it says manage attachments click browse, then find the pic you want on your computer, click on it then, click open, then click upload on the manage attachment window, then click preveiw post to see if you got it right. sounds complicated, but it is simple once you do it. try it, you can't hurt anything.

Not bad for a luddite...

Interesting to note; the Coca-cola trucks have flat windsheilds, and I think the cabs are the 1936 (?) style. The trucks in the repair shop have three ribs on the doors, making them 1938-39. The noses are all '40. Henry sure knew how to recycle...waste not, want not.

Do u have any info on the trucks Lugnut?
They look like brand new all wheel drive military jobs. Probably built for desert work. The pics look posed.

I don't have any history, just a couple of cool old pics from internet sites. I have a '40 One-ton Panel Delivery that I'm working on, but still am unable to find any pictures of what they looked like new.
