Old parts question

My thoughts may differ from others, but if you are tripping over them or you need to move parts to get to other things, then absolutely not.

Personally, I would never use used springs. If you don't have a valve resurfacer/cutter, it is cheaper to get new ones than pay someone to recondition them. Just my two cents.

I would love a flat rate box of valves and related gear. I have testers for most of these parts and prefer a lightly used Ford product over an offshore part. I will pm you.

I agree 100%. I've been building engines since the 1980's and I would much rather have a used Ford valve than a new "Made in China" one. Seeing an "F" and "R" are signs of quality...and there are lots who won't know what I'm talking about. That goes for guides also. I once got a batch of of 8BA style guides that were bored off center. Talk about a nightmare!!

Ford Parts,Made Right, Fit Right, Last Longer. Clean and inspect then preserve with lite oil and box them up with a label. I still have all the good ones out of my 53 merc less the three that someone els needed. Tim
