old memories

Hi Clem
Yes I plan to be there God Willing
hope to have same spot.
You should come I need someone to pick on

Really beautiful, outstanding photographs! I was surprised in the street scenes, where cars were shown that there not more Model "A"s. When you consider the pictures generally were taken between 1940 and 1943 I would have thought we would see more of our favorite cars.

Photos are amazing; most were probably taken with medium or full format cameras or 6 x 6 (cm) slides in this case. It is truly wonderful what can be done with today’s high end digital cameras ($3500.00 to $8000.00) but they can't come close to what these old big box film cameras can do. My other hobby as you can guess is photography and I have one of these high end cameras. I know I don’t have the talent or dedication but it would be a wonderful thing to have these photographers expertise or at least to be able to shine their boots.

Great pics. Have seen many of these before. This is what America will look like after Mr. B.O. leaves office. A step back.
