Old Henry

Just read an older thread that had a posting by Old Henry. That got me to thinking that I hadn't seen any post of his for a while. Looks like he was last on the board last October. I know he had gotten into R/C airplanes. Just wondering if he is still touring in his '47? Years ago he posted this winter photo that I still use every now and again as wall paper on my lap top.

I miss him too. He always amazed me with his travels. He never made a big deal about it, it was just a nice drive up to Alaska. Right now he's probably guiding an RC plane circumnavigating the globe.

He was a very good writer of his travels and his photography was awesome . . . sure wish he'd take the ole' 47 out on the road again!

If you search on YouTube .......1947 Ford “Old Henry”.......you will find his videos from the past....personally, I think they’re very enjoyable to watch......Mark

We all miss that guy, kinda like Lawrie with his 33, no matter how remote, get in the Ford and go! What better way to build lifetime memories!!

Blast from the past - Old Henry and his trusty Ford Sedan[/QUOTE]

Old Henry was the car. The guy is Craig.

Ken 36 is correct...Craig McAllister is an attorney. Old Henry is the Ford.

The story I remember was that Craig and wife were going to go and do some sort of missionary-type adventure in some far-away, remote part of the planet. I remember picturing it as the type place where the natives would eat the visitors if given half a reason to do so, with little chihuahua dogs likely making a quick appetizer.

I miss him too..
Kind of a hero of mine ...
Got the sedan out on some lonely highway ..
Nevada ,,in the heat ..
Utah in the snow.....
I say we go Lookin' for him and demand some more Travel logs....

I always sat in the back seat, because the dog had the co-pilots seat. Great rides, felt like I was with him/

Craig was from Utah. A quick facebook creep shows he was a disability attorney. Other than that not sure if he's still alive.
