It has been said by me and others that we would like a socical side of the hobby!!!
It was pointed out by Hoop that there is a Community option on the Black bar.
I am going to try to set some thing up.
1st Thing lets select a name.

My sugestion for a name would be "OLD FRIENDS of the BARN"

JM I think we can also set up a vendors list.
But lets get the social site up first. after all this is my thread. {My Ball,My Bat} LOL LOL

There are a lot of people that were from the old barn that don't post here for assorted reasons so if you know of any of these people & you have there email address please drop them a line and let them know of are endever here
you can give them my email address if that helps.

The old barn is this same site but before Ryan obtaining it and then astablishing the new barn.
The old Barn was run my Shelly AKA--- MISS SHELLY/MODEL A LADY/MOM/ & a few other names some printable some not.
The two sites in many ways are the same but also many ways different.
Miss Shellys was more about the car's & about the people that like cars/Trucks where as Ryan runs his more about the cars & tech side of things and less about the people.
With the old barn there was a lot of friends made names on the screen and the best part when we were able to put the faces to names. ( the face to names is still happening )
But getting to know the person is being lost / Faimlys/Likes /dislikes/ we DO NOT Talk Politics At All.
So there are some My self included that want to have a place not far away or hard to get to that we can keep in contact with our extended BARN familys.
This is why I am attempting to get some thing started.

A good way to put a face to the people is like was done on the hamb site; post your photo so we know who you are. I would post up mine first, but small children might see it and be frightened.

Good Idea But I just looked at my Drivers license And just realized the face I see while shaving is not the picture the camera sees. But that will be a good start point for those that want that aspect.

What I was thinking was a place that was not the Tec side of the cars /trucks but would be more about the personal side of it.
WE { meaning every one can help steer it in the direction of travel}
If it is just one thing like a list of events only I think it would be a dry read and not really get going , JUST LIKE SOME OF ARE FLATHEADS ,
I am not very Computer Savvy so I hope others will help.
It sounds like we should Include some sort of event Finder and not just a list.
These lists are already out there and we don't want to be redundant but just some guidance in how to find them / that being said every one should be able to list events important to them.
I am going to try to start some over on the community side today.

I never knew that exsisted! I read quite a few and it sounds as if that were just what Bill W is talking about. Unfortunately it don't look as yhough it caught on. Even had some jokes on there. Maybe that could be the place for the "joke of the day" (I miss reading them) Good find 41ford1.

Chuck, I did not see that particulars one but have seen others. And like funrunr said it kind of lost steam.
So I thought that starting a new one might stirrer up Intrest.
I have a picture in mind but B Darned if I can get it over where I want it.
When my Daughter gets about today I hope she can show me for the umteenth time how to GET ER DONE.
O Yea the 2:44am tag time is only because I desided to sleep in today.
I hope no one thinks I am trying to steal any thunder But I enjoy all aspects of this hobby and in some small way I want to contribute to the fun.
