I hate to sound stupid but how do you check the engine oil? I don't see a dip stick or and valves to open?

also where would the serial # be located?

Thanks in advance

Open the upper spigot on the flywheel bulge under the car. If oil comes out it is full. Otherwise open the bottom one and if nothing comes out you need to add until it comes out the top one.

The serial # is on the side of the block below the head.

As said above, the oil should just drip out of the top spigot. You can buy an aftermarket dip stick from someone like Don Lang. If you don't want to use a dip stick, there is a special tool for turning the spigots without crawling under the car. Lang's has them too. John
