Oil pressure

Hi All,
I have a 41 Ford Bus Coupe. I have an 89-AB 48 FORD V 8 Engine installed.
What I want to know is what should be the average oil pressure reading on the gauge once it's warmed up and running.
Thank you for your help. As always all help is very much welcomed and appreciated.

When warmed up it will depend some on the engine RPM's. At idle the pressure may be quite minimal - under 5-10 psi. Above idle 20-30 is pretty average. However, many sending units do not send accurately to the gauge such that the gauge may read lower than the actual pressure. You can only really know the real pressure by installing a mechanical gauge temporarily. Once you've verfied that the pressure is OK and what your origianl gauge shows compared to real pressure you can relax and not worry too much about oil pressure. Here's a thread where I demonstrate how to check with mechanical gauge if you want to try that: http://fordbarn.com/forum/showthread.php?t=68156
