I believe the bracket mounts in the lower two screws of the Model A instrument panel. Except, the gauge appears to be upside down in the mounting bracket and just needs to be turned around.

10 lbs would be way too much for a stock engine.
I've got one of the reproduction Rexaco oil pressure gauges on my 31 tudor. when the engine is first started when cold the needle will go to 10 lbs for a short time and settle back to 2 or 3 lbs. This is normal for a stock model A engine in good condition. I f the needle stays at the 10 lb. reading it would indicate a blockage and serious problems will soon follow.

About the only thing that the gauge would be good for is to let you know if the oil is WAY low. Model A's rely mostly on gravity rather than pressure. On the other hand, being as everybody is an expert on model A's, if somone sees the gauge is only registering 2 lbs. they will tell you that something must be wrong with your engine. This could REALLY hurt if trying to sell the car. Some would get pissed off after having to constantly explain and argue that the pressure was correct .
