Oil pan swash plates

Does anyone have drawings, or pictures, of the cast aluminum oil pan swash plates installed in the 32-33-34 v-8?

I would like to whack up one but would like it to be cross-eyed close.

Only the '32 V8 was cast aluminum. The late '32 V8 pan was steel but don't know how that plate was attached. That plate for the alu pan was attached with screws. In '33 it snapped in.

The only difference between the late '32 steel oil pan and the '33 pan was the placement and orientation of the die cast fitting for the dipstick on the left upper center of the oil pan. In other words, the insert plate is the same as the '33-'34 pan and snaps in place.

There were three versions of the insert plate used with aluminum oil pans, all of which were held in place with screws as Sheldon indicated. The first was for use with the first version of the oil pump which had no pickup tube (the oil entered the pump from the bottom of a unique pump cover) and therefore had no slot in the plate for the tube. The second was also for use with the early oil pump, but now had a hole in it for the oil dipstick to pass through reflecting the relocation of the dipstick from the right rear side of the engine block to the left side of the oil pan. The third and most common had the slot required to accommodate the pickup tube that was added to the oil pump.

The later 33-34 oil pan insert is sheet metal stamping held in place with tabs on the sides. The tabs slide and lock into recesses stamped into the side of the stamped steel oil pan It is a friction fit with no additional hardware.

I was in error in my first post. Please excuse me. I thought the cast aluminum pan extended into the later years. I have an original!

I have a late '32 cast aluminum pan, based on the location of the sump. Putting the angled slot in the horizontal pan is a simple thing to do. However, since the lugs cast into the pan are obvious locations for attachment screws, what did the swash plate look like?
