does anyone have any opinions on wich oil line kits are good or bad? since my engine is torn down I can do any welding now. Just some feedback...

I have this kit on my 14 & it really seems to work well. It is available from Snyder's at $79. It seems less likely to plug up than many other types.
The pickup is mouned over a hole in the hogs head right where the most oil is being thrown off the flywheel.

When the hogshead is under restoration, that is the time for the nice outside oiler , get the kit from TxTparts. defector mounts on the left side, and flows lots of oil to the lower front of the crankcase pan. Used a high pressure (oil heat resistant) hydraulic hose for this install rather than hard tubing.
