Off Topic - Pre-1942 Photographs

[Freddie (Memphis)]

On one of my other websites of which I am a member, someone posted a link to some pre-1942 photos taken with Kodachrome film. I found it pretty interesting and thought some of my fellow Model-A fans may like to see it...just click the link.

Although I didn't see any Model A's in the photos, there are several cars lined up along the streets in some of the photos that apper to be mid-30's, maybe earlier. Life was so much simpler back then...but look how crudely people lived..and the filth they lived in.

"Good Ol' Days"? ...well, maybe not so much. But interesting, nonetheless. Hope you enjoy looking at these as much as I did.

Nice photos of Americana, back before my time. I enjoy looking at them and give credit to the people who took those wonderful shots. Thanks for sharing.

My wife's grandad took hundreds of pictures in the 30s and 40s; we now have the slides and someday hope to convert them to digital format so we can share and enjoy them.
