Boss has a 35 Auburn Speedster (f/glass). He had an "incident" with it and broke one of the driving/fog (clear glass) lights. Auburn repro parts want $350 for a new set of lights. It's 7 1/4 " diameter, shallow.
Any suggestions??
Thanks in advance.

buy another set of lights off of ebay for far less.

I have a few sets here and would be less then 1/2 the price.

It's my understanding the replica speedster manufacturers ( all now out of business) used vintage looking but modern fog lights and they were not all the same. Finding who built the lights might give you a source for replacement parts. Might have to take the light apart to find mfg info.

The original speedsters did not come standard with fog lights but they sure look nice on the replicas.

You might check with UnityUSA, they made a lot of these type lights. I didn't see anything in the 7.25 inch range in their on-line catalog, but it might be worth a call.

possibly look at the back of the good one for the number

is it 6V---12V
is it seal beam, or bulb/ reflector-lens unit

7-1/4 sounds like seal beam size

What company was the builder of this Repro Auburn Speedster? If Glenn Pray, Broken Arrow is not very far away from here, and I might be able to find out who made the light from them.
