O. T. Who makes Kirkland Batteries?

I have a 12V Kirkland (Costco) in my Model A. Today Costco sells Interstate Batteries. Back in 2010 they were Kirkland. Does anyone know who made them back then?

Thanks,
Herb

Johnson Controls, which is now Clarios. They make others like Diehard, Optima, etc. They are one of the three main battery manufacturers in the US.

Really makes no difference. The manufacturers build to the specs of the vendor.Remember the Vega was brought to you by the same people that brought you the Camaro.Like the Pinto was brought to you by the same people that brought you the Torino.A man here in town used to build custom boat trailers. He was offered 4 or 5 different levels of quality for the axle bearings, and it was up to him.The different qualities were all from the same bearing manufacturer.

Thanks, Hitman.
Do you by any chance know who makes Duracell car batteries?

East Penn Manufacturing makes the Duracell batteries for automotive applications. They also make Deka, which I've had the best luck with aside from Odessey which has outlasted anything I've ever had.

The reason for my original post, who made Kirkland batteries? Mu Kirkland battery developed a shirted cell.
it was installed June of 2010 in my Slant Town Sedan. Not bad, Lasted 16 years! Never had a battery last that long!

Now you'll be doing good if you get 1/2 that life out of a battery :(
