Had internet 2+ years which inspired me to get one of these cars, saw 1 on the internet & though it was cool. Been reading this forum about that long. Only in the past month have you guys been worried about whether or not philips head screws were a h.a.m.b. item or not.
Calm down & go back to not worrying about what someone else thinks if you used a philips head screw to hold on the license plate or not.

Now it has all been said hopefully this thread has run its course and you can go back to working on cars, you know, like you used to a month ago?

This post actually did make me laugh. But you sound about right.

My only request would be that folks PLEASE put enough in the Thread Title so that others can figure out what the post is going to be about without having to spend the time to click through to it...

I think we are getting lazy if clicking is a physical problem. If I am on the Ford Barn time is is not of the essence.

I sometimes need help on stuff that is not Model "A". The Ford Barn and the Hamb is the best place to get a fast answer. They seem to have more activity than other forums. Mrs. Sturgis had trouble with her door handles on her Ford Explore and she was upset. I asked the question and received several helpful replies.

Life is not one dimensional ...

Neither is this forum - which reflects life.

For those who want to complain I suggest leaving
you leave FordBarn - start your own personal forum (its' called a blog).

I used to go to the Ahooga site but found that it became more of a chat site than a Model A site. There is a difference between Model Aers talking Model A's and Model Aers just talking. I prefer Model Aers talking Model A's.

A parallel happening is looking through Model A parts on eBay. It used to be a place for Model A parts. Now there are so many car covers and gear shift knobs that it is getting difficult to find Model A parts.

Let's keep the Fordbarn for Model Aers talking about Model A's.

This I agree with 100% on both sites...

I don't post as much as I used to because of the changing demographics on the forum.
Lots of OT threads, threads about cars other than Fords(this has gotten excessive lately), the same group pissing & moaning about everything. The way some of these guys ***** you'd think they'd have a tampon that needed changing.

What really gets me is the self appointed Moderators here. These are the ones that copy Ryan's site rules verbatim and post them. Did you not get enough attention as a kid that you feel the need to create attention for yourself now?

I'm close to writing off this site totally unless something changes- I'm sure I'm not the only one.

This is a ford restoration forum. We have side at topics that cover some moderation. Off topic stuff will be deleted unless I find it intriguing for one reason or another.

Frankly, I'm growing tired of these threads. If these keeps up, I'm just going to start closing accounts until we are left with folks that would rather talk about old fords than argue a out how we talk about them.

Ditto - 100% on the same page.

I can't tell you how many times the arguing takes away from the site and old cars.
I delete a argument post only to find out the next day someone posts about their argument post getting deleted.
Fella's - Ryan is a very patient guy, but at some point the arguing needs to stop and it will.
Please be considerate of that. Thank you.

Note-To be respectful to the original restoration topic standpoint - My Original Avitar picture when I joined was a raced injected flathead dragster - my apologies.
I changed it to my stock with a flattie- 48 Merc.
