Not Model A, but what is it?

Saw this in my travels today.

There was no one around to ask what it was.

I figured you guys would know.

Unless they print upside down.

'33 or '34 Ford V-8. The two years are nearly identical, but there are subtle differences. A knowledgeable 'sharp eye' can tell the difference. As I used to own and drive a '34, I used to be able to tell the difference. But 40 years absence has caused the details to 'drift into the past'. The thickness of the radiator shell is one difference; front door variation is another.

:D At least I know my 28's from my 31's!! . 33 or 34 though it could have a home in my garage.

Had a '33 3-window when I was younger, bought it from a Nat'l Guard soldier doing his training at Camp (Ft) Drum in upstate NY. $750 and my dad towed it home with a rope from his Jeep and me steering.! Sold it before my marriage/military enlistment for $850.!! Kick myself everyday..

Oh... my....gosh.... That would keep me up at night.

Looks like it is a '34.

Hood latches front and rear corners of the hood sides.

Extra piece at the rear of the side window openings for windows to be raised all the way up and then slid back about an inch. This leaves a opening along the front edge of the side windows for "draft free" ventilation. These are '34 only features.

As was said before, this is one of the most sought after body styles. There is definitely a lot of money sitting on the back of that truck.

34 has two handles to release the hood panels on each side. 33 has only one on each side, midway between the front and the back.. That is the easy way to tell, though they could have the wrong hood? Radiator shell is straight on 34, has a slight curve to the sweep in 33. Nice car, I'd love to have it.
