NOS Hood Hinges - 1940

I posted in the wanted section, but I thought it wouldn't hurt to post here as well. Anyone know what the likelihood of finding a set of NOS 1940 Coupe Hood Hinges would be? I would love to avoid a repop where possible. Thanks.
 
Those will come in handy and I'll watch them. However, I'm mostly looking for the other pieces that attach the hood to the cowl. I think the part numbers are: 91A-16796 and 91A-16797. I fear mine are just too sloppy to allow nice alignment when I install the hood.
Thank you for the link. I have been watching ebay, but had missed these. These will certainly help tighten things up as well.
 
You are correct, Kube. Thanks for chiming in. Upon closer inspection, I noticed that they did look different from what I remembered, but was going to reserve judgement until I pull my old units off and study them side-by-side. Looking at a couple of online photos and just going by where they mount on the cowl and where the spring connects, they are totally wrong. Hopefully, I'll come across a set of both these and the other hood hinge/mounts before too long.

Each one of these individuals purchased many of Ford Dealer Parts inventories and have NOS.

I re-peened the rivits on my originals and that seemed to help a lot. The pin that holds the spring on the lower supports was loose and trying to pull through, so I clamped a new one in place and welded it on the back side. It looks and works like new.

Different animal. What you repaired were the hood supports. The hinges are up closer to the cowl.
