Nors condensers

It would seem to me that for other than fine point cars, they could be short-lived in daily drivers due to the ageing of their internal "chemistry" .

Thoughts?

Most of the Original Ford Condensers I've tested on my Ford Heyer stroboscope have a high probablility of being good. Especially the NOS ones. I'll take an original Ford over a NORS any day. You can almost place a 100% bet that a NORS unit will be bad. If you want one for your driver buy the A&L burnout proof unit.

I believe the "A" should be .23-.25 microfarad in capacitance, The must also be tested for leakage and resistance.
