It's going to put an end to more than just the "underground" economy. It could hurt the real one too. I'm simply going to take a very short drive over the State Line and do my shopping in Mississippi when I want to pay cash.

I understand the Louisiana legislature's next step is to petition the Federal government to amend U.S. currency so that it reads "This note is legal tender for all debts public and private EXCEPT IN THE STATE OF LOUISIANA".
