Optical illusion? I see two steering wheels in two of the pictures and only one in the interior shot of this "T".

The car with the single steering wheel has a darker body colour than the yellow one with 2 steering wheels.

Very observant ,thanks for all the posts ,don't know what the other wheel is for, driving in two different countries ?.

I see it now --- two different Model Ts. The single steering wheel pickup has a natural wood finish wheel along with a round mirror while the other two pictures show a pair of black rimmed wheels along with a rectangular mirror.
Regardless, were these Canadian built cars, shipped in crates and then assembled in New Zealand? I know the Canadian-built open bodied Ts were built with functioning doors on both sides to accommodate right hand drive countries, the American-built bodies were right door function only to supply the domestic market in America.

The pictures were obviously taken at different times & a few things changed in between. But the plate number & all of the odd additions remained. If you look to the left of the coil box you can see a hole that likely held the second, dummy steering wheel when it was present. I am sure it is fun to see the bystanders try to figure out who is driving. Somehow Stan Laurel would fit in the picture.

Yes most of the export Ford & GM cars were built in Canada. We had 2 doors on the front for that reason & there were some provinces that drove on the left (correct) side of the road until about 1924.
