Nice looking Vicky

I see a sediment bowl on the firewall, gas shut off is inside , it must be early 31 before the indented firewall change , this fact would be in the JS .

My early '31 Town Sedan is configured this way - shutoff inside, non-indented firewall.

I looked at the Harbor As web site. Thought there might be an ad in their newsletter - not in 2026. There was a photo of it on their April tour.

All Victorias were listed as 31. They had the first indented top radiator shell. 99% Leatherbacks were all flat firewalls. Indented firewalls did not start until about May of 31. Victorias were first offered in October 1930. Looks to me that the fuel shut off on this is under the gas tank inside, not under the hood as stated above.

This is a beautiful car but if I had a leatherback Victoria, I'd put black roof fabric on it.
The correct tan fabric has just never looked good to me.
just my half-baked opinion.......;)

WNC….thats why baskin Robbin’s makes all those flavors. Since we’re voicing opinions …you couldn’t put enough lipstick on a leatherback to make it pretty
Now steel back totally different!!! Imho

Hello. It does state engine number is October, so if it is the original engine, would be one of the 1 st Victorias made . As mentioned, later 31 have the indented firewall, under hood shut off, also the 2 nd body mount is shifted to accommodate the slant windshield sedans .Even if production was in 1930 , Victoria would still have a 31 radiator shell .

According to the Table of Surviving 190-As in the Victoria Book published by MAFCA, and compiled by Bob Bidonde for the International Model A Victoria Association, the Vicky has an engine production date of 10/21/30.
The Murray body tag number 11358 indicates the car would have been produced any time between October and December 1930.

I definitely misinterpreted the pictures on my phone, thinking the sediment bulb was the fuel shutoff. Thanks to all for the correction.

The seller some uploaded some additional pictures and says this car was on the cover of The Restorer in 1984, with an article inside. Also that he has written details of its provenance and restoration.

I agree - the black hartz cloth and a Dark Highland Green (Bullitt Mustang) body with black fenders - is how I'd build it. I do know where there is a black all steel top one with 2" chop and the roof filled. It's a beauty but he's rebuffed my purchase offers so far.
