Nice Day for a Drive

Finally got her on the road after 4 years, thanks to all the help from the old and new Fordbarn, Went to help a buddy do some wiring in his garage and didn't get dome until after dark. The 6V headlights work fine and high beam is just like my daily driver. Gotta get that hot air heat back in though!

Other than getting bad gas mileage, seems to run fine. I figure too rich is better than too lean for now.

That is one nice looking ride. Your engine compartment looks awesome! I would fix the mixture issue so you don't load up the oil with unburnt gas and load up your plugs. My issue was excess fuel pressure blowing past the float needle.

I too use my 6V lights and they work great. The only time I use my high beams is to get others to dim theirs. Everyone around here must be half blind. They tear around all night with the brights on and I'm the only one who hasn't hit a deer.

That's one Beauty ya got there. Nice job on putting it together. I have my water pumps and Distributor sent out to Skips right now for rebuild. If she was all back together I probably be taking her out for a ride today myself. It's suppose to be near 60's here in northern Mich this week. Better enjoy while it last we'll probably be shoveling snowing next week.:)
