Nice gift for that special someone. I have a restored column mount motometer. The heat detecting and indicating parts works like it should. This is the "Red Ball" one, where the little circle turns from green to red when engine overheats. I have one on each of my cars and prefer them over the radiator mounted ones. Very nice looking, spruces up interior of car. Easy to install, just remove left rear head stud and replace it with special bolt that is supplied. $250 plus shipping. Roger 360 674 3130

Roger, what to do if you cannot remove the rear head stud because it is stuck

soak it with kroil or penetrant of your choosing for several days (if necessary) and wiggle it back and forth gently. once there is any movement you should be home free but patience is the name of the game.
