Can anyone post the correct part number for NGK spark plugs...1940 stock 221in engine? Thank you
The handbook says Champion H10 for cars H9 for trucks, this translates (for cars) to a NGK B6L, but can use a B4L for a hotter plug.
Essentially the main difference between a B6L and a B5RES is the thread reach, disregarding the resistor and the heat range.
I am running B4L plugs. Is that the wrong heat range or is it ok?
What part of "after running them" don't you get?Of course it looks white. That's the color out of the box!

I am serious. If the plug is already white, how can you tell it is turning white??
