Ngk plug gap

I almost hate to do this, but we've been through this before. THe conclusion was that there are no plugs that fit Offenhauser heads properly, and custom-made spacers are required. https://www.fordbarn.com/forum/showthread.php?t=272052&highlight=offenhaus.
There was some talk of Offenhauser "cleaning up their act", but I have no idea if they did or not.

I had read this thread prior to installing my Offy heads, and picked up some B7ES plugs that Flatjack said he used on these heads. I was relieved to see they fit perfectly. My original post was about plug GAP and it appears that NGK plugswith a -11 suffix are pregapped at .044 but are no different otherwise, so I'm going to gap my B7ES-11 plugs at .025 and go from there.

It seems like Offenhauser has cleaned up their act. It looks like you're good to go.:)

Good news! Any modern flathead casting should be configured for 3/4" reach plugs. They are by far the most common and having the additional thread depth is a real plus.
