Newbie to Model T needs help!!!

Hey guys I have just bought my first T!!! It is a 26 open touring I have a lot of work ahead of me.(box-a-car) I just redone a 29 Tudor Model A and had alot of fun making a driver now enjoying driving it. Now to the new project I what to change it into a roadster pickup and have different ideals on what I want? I am leaning toward a open cab all wood roadster if I can find some pictures of one I only have one to look at and get ideals, if anybody has some photos could you please post them for me.Or I can buy a used roaster body and add a truck bed but I can't find one in decent shape. I do alot of wood working so the all wood truck would work for me BUT!! I really like the all steel roadster also. I also am in need of a good repair manual or a mechanics book like Les Andrews Model A repair book I don't even know what alot of the parts are? What book do I need to get for help restoring the T? Any and all help will be greatly appreciated, any plans to build an all wood cab please post me a link. Also is the rear fenders on a truck bigger than that of a touring car fenders. The original blue T in the photo looks nice. you could keep your eyes out for a body or they make new ones at rootlieb in Calif.

The main book is the factory Model T Service Manual.....that has pics and all step by step factory assembly and disassembly instructions. Also the Ford Owner, period book, and Ford Owners Manual

All the manuals and other books are reprints from the T parts vendors.

There isn't a real fine restoration manual, as the Service Manual is the guide. For the different changes the T when through over the 19 years made, you have to get the big book bible, by Bruce McCaulley, its out of print, so try the on line used book sellers.....have fun with your T!

Go to the Model T Ford Club of America website. They have a copy of McCalley's encyclopedia on line and you can also order a version on CD. EVERYTHING you ever wanted to know!
