newbe question on posts

I have entered a new thread and have added comments on a few others, the question I have is how do I flag those entries to see other comments so I can find them quickly and see if anyone has added their ideas to the thread?

The thread gets buried by the new ones and I can't find them to read later.

How do I flag/tag them to keep them where I can get back to them without digging through the mountain of new post to see further comments?

I should know this, but I don't.

At the top of each thread, it says "thread tools" click on that and you'll see "subscribe to this thread," just click that and you'll be able to be notified when new posts are made and it'll be kept in your "subscribed threads" section of your user control panel.
