New "Winfield"

I think Clive in England that is re-poping the stromberg 97 has been toying with the windfield carb re-pop.
Tod, I am going to wait for the Crow's foot head.
 
My core shop is ready to go on cores for the first samples of the new Winfield. I have a mold made for the 6:1 chamber and I will probably make a couple of crow's foot samples when cores get here.

I am new to their company so we are doing some paper work to get me in the system. Hopefully, in 2 or 3 weeks we will see cores.

Tod, I just watched your video casting new blocks. Great work - well done.
Do you use virgin Cast Iron or recycled? Recycled is best - it gives a much finer grain structure but no doubt you already know that.
The exhaust also looks good but unfortunately, it won't work here or in any RHD country. It will foul the steering box. Pity!:(
 
Tod, from memory, you were going to offer different spark plug thread sizes in the Winfield heads. Is this correct?? Thanks

I don't see a problem with that. I'll need to know what to make when I start machining the orders.

No. In the middle of the process I was yanked around by administrative types who changed terms from what I was told by the production people. I immediately walked away. I will be making cores locally now. So, thanks to yet another company for screwing me over and taking months out of my life.
