My question is I just bought a new leakless pump from Snyder there are instruction that say if you are installing this in a car with a stock radiator to just install as is.... But if your car has a new radiator you need to grind off about 1/3 of the impeller blades because there will be to much flow and the newer radiators and they can not handle the return flow and will cause it to blow out the overflow. So my question is not how to remove the material but is this really needed to be done ? How can I tell if I have a stock radiator or a newer style radiator that have smaller cooling tubes that will could reduce the flow rate.
