Last fall I ordered a touring engine from Joe at Turlock Machine. I was hoping to get it by mid to late December and get my roadster back on the road. Alas, its close to being done but not quite. My intention was to be able to use it this summer but the time has past as I am off to my home in Alaska and all car projects will be on hold till next fall when we return south. I have other options for the car and would like to sell the engine for what I have in it. This is a brand new engine that will be run on a stand at Turlock Machine and will carry a 2 year warranty from one of the top, if not the top, engine builders on the west coast. At this point there are many options, depending on how far someone wants to take it. My intention was to get a short block that was ready for anything, including an OHV conversion, or high compression. The engine has a B head, cam and carb at present, along with a Red's header with two collectors. The important part is that it should be ready to go in a week or two, according to Joe. I'm not going to take a penny less than what he is going to charge but I would have jumped all over an opportunity like this last fall.
