New to the Barn

Hey ya'll, I am new to the Barn and just wanted to introduce myself. I am a proud owner of 1958 Ford Fairlane 500 Interceptor hard top and a 1960 Fairlane two door post. I used to have all chevys, but then started to get into the Fords alot more within the last year. The car that really got me into the Fords was the Johnny Taylor 58 Fairlane Kustom. After I saw that car I wanted to build one close to it, and so I found one in a small Texas town for dirt cheap. Got the car back home and started working on it, knowing that it would be a long build but also knowing that it would be an awesome car!
As of right now the 58 has the whole front clip off getting ready for a new motor and getting ready for some much needed body work. The 1960 Fairlane is a different story, I just sold one of my other cars and was looking around on Craigslist and found it for a reasonable price. Went over to the persons house looked at it and decided it was a unique body style that I didn't see too many of. Rebuilt the carb in the guys drive way and broke loose the wheels and off she was (another dirt cheap deal for the car). So now here we are, trying to get ready for the LSR and I ran into a problem that maybe some of you guys can help me with.
The floor pans in the back of the car are gone, like more than Swiss cheese we are talking like Flintstone gone. And I am trying to find replacements but it seems that also with a unique body style comes hard to find floor pans, almost like they forgot they made that car. So I didn't know if maybe some of ya'll knew of any places that I could find these at or some from anther year that might work. Any help on this is appreciated greatly! I will also post pics of the progress on both of the cars!

Welcome to the Barn. I love those 60 coupes, really slick. The 58 looks even better, it will be a wonderful car again.

I like your ford fairlane 500 as a kid my parents had a blue and white 57 fairlane 500 convert it had gold trim on the quarters-- very cool, good luck with your projects and check out our social groups alot of help here! gump

Hey Rodney. Welcome to The Barn.

I'm assuming your asking for floor pans for the '58? Actually quite common, same as the '57. Try here for starters '58 Ford Floor Pans Not cheap but good quality.

Actually I was looking for floor pans for the 1960, not easy to find at all. Thanks guys ill make sure that I join one of the groups!

Well the Round Up is getting closer, so decided to do a couple of things on the car,
1. Paint inside of the car
2. Lower the car a little
3. Paint rims
4. Paint outside of car
5. take care of some of the dents

Now if I can actually get all of this done is another story, but here is the progress so far.
