new to flatheads, need help

Holy crap, lol, that is one way to start it. I think my husband is gonna try and weld something up, some are pretty steep for the adaptors.


And yes i do have sisters but I guess they dont like what I like. Im more like my brother I guess

at least you'll find out whether it starts or not....don't need to run it very long....won't need a stand to start it and get it running.....but if you are going to make a stand, you need something that will bolt to the bellhousing and a couple places to bolt the water pumps to....there have been previous threads about engine test stands....have fun with that flathead....Mike

Ya, we just want to see if she'll run. My husbands 4 banger was started using a fuel line and gatorade bottle just long enough to see how it ran. :) people laughbut u do what u have to :o
 
lol...yep, been perched on a fender a few times dribbling gas down the carb to get a few cars running.....can get exciting....good luck.....Mike
