Took my '26 out for a spin today and she was sluggish and slow- I wonder if my clutch slips or my band is too tight? Here are the symptoms:
1. it was slow picking up from low to high gear..takes about 50 feet to engage the high gear and even then isn't very noticeable-just kinda speeds up gradually.
2. lack of power and very little response from throttle.
3. lumbered along and labored in high gear- actually slowed down instead of speeding up and was lurching and bucking- at one point I thought it was going to die- so I went back to low gear and then shifted to high again--but sluggish.
4. overall lack of power
5. low and reverse gears work well
Thanks,
James
